THE STUDIO CLUB - & PUBLIC HOUSE

About Us

The word studio is derived from the italian studio: from latin studium, from studere, meaning to study or zeal.

The french term for studio, atelier has the connotation of being the home of an alchemist or wizard.

The Studio Club in Bedford is a hub of creativity, a community platform and workshop for those who wish to use it.

Our aim is to bring people together, through music, through dance, to network or simply to relax over a drink.

Over the last 11 years the Studio Club has carried out a number of projects: our music programme has helped to develop the skills of a number of local artists, we have worked with the NHS to provide a drop-in centre for mental health patients returning to the community, our work with Creative Arts Bedfordshire provides local bands with a practise venue as well as a place to perform.

The age of our customer base ranges from 18-80 and includes people from all over the world. The Studio Club operates an internet radio station so that our customers can stay connected where ever in the world their lives may take them.

The Studio Club operates as a local Pub during the week with a full range of activities; Pool, Dominoes, Cards, Poker & Bar Football.

At the weekend we transform into a lively Night Club. Offering our customers the best value for their money. Music is provided by our resident DJ's which include Camman, Glen T & Scorcher (Ramjam Radio), Selector Dave, Werieka & Hector Selector (intobeats). We offer an urban flavour playing Reggae, RnB, Bashment, Soul, Funk, & Hip hop. Entry is free.

We run regular events featuring Guest DJ's & international P.A.s throughout the year.
